Planetary and Behavioural Modeling - an application of the FMP technology. (Fractal Macroscope Technology - see TheTechnologies)

A wonderful project that the VPC would like to undertake is be to build an advanced modeling system (a series of Virtual Machines) to model human activity with the ultimate aim of influencing human behaviour in favour of good ecological living practices over our habitual and often harmful living habits.

The mathematical modeling will be made possible through the same technology that will be developed in the Fractal Macroscope.

Image a Behavioural or Planetary Challenge that you could enlist your members and supporters to participate in. We would build a Virtual Machine that represented actual human activity. People taking the Challenge would be able to enter their Challenge data into a user friendly interface. The model would show the reduction in green house gases, the gross tonnage that was diverted from our landfills, the amount of energy saved by not flushing the toilet once or twice a day etc.

A dynamic modeling system that reflects real behaviour will show people that small efforts repeated thousands or millions of times will make a large difference. A child could use the model to ask questions about human behaviour and see the results built forward in time in a simulation mode. (ie. What would happen if a million or ten million people turned off two lights, recycled four plastic bags a week or took the bus twice a week and so on. – the results could be shown as the equivalent weight in elephants or the volume of so many train cars or airplanes.)

A behavioural modeling system based on FMP technology would enable people to see how they can make a difference.
