Challenge: To work with the staff to develop a strategic plan to attract outside funding to expand the services provided by the society. The Society had identified the need for a number of specialized housing initiatives for the First Nations Community, in particular for a medical stay facility for First Nations patients coming to Vancouver for emergency and critical medical treatment.

Solution: The Society had conducted some preliminary reseach into the travel patterns and associated costs and challenges for band members coming to Vancouver for medical visits. nuMedia was retained to expand on the research, build a financial model of the proposed healing lodge and to prepare the submission documents to the provincial government and other funding authorities.
