The Venture Philanthropy Corporation, a for-profit corporation, is a new kind of company. The idea is simple, the corporation will raise venture capital in partnership with educational, environmental and charitable partners to fund the development of next generation technologies to be licensed in the global marketplace.
The VPC acts as a technology incubator for these technologies while creating an ongoing revenue stream for the Partners through technology licensing and strategic alliances.
